All courses should be considered once in a lifetime opportunities because each course created is completely unique.

Whether you’ve always dreamed of forging a blade with a Japanese sword smith, learn how to make the perfect culinary knife or know how to chisel and patinate metals; we continue to create opportunities with recognized masters of their respective traditions.

Each class is created in conjunction with the instructor and often require specialized tools that need to be created in class.  Most classes relate back to techniques applied in the process of Japanese sword making.  That context is perhaps our focal point, but many of the artists we work with want to push boundaries in ways that exceed their traditions; so look for opportunities we create that colour beyond our initial lines.

Our Courses

Our original events should always be treated as once in a lifetime opportunities.  We work hard to create opportunities with the highest skilled artists and craftspeople alive today.  The traditions our instructors reflect vary, as does their curriculum and the format we present it in.  Because of the unique planning and a certain aligning of the stars required, our event calendar with each teacher is infrequent and things always change as we lock in final pieces.

Our main goal is to provide access to instruction for arts that otherwise would not be accessible.  A rising tide floats all boats and our success is measured by everyone else’s.
